Our client, a customer-focused distributor of heavy duty machinery with over a century’s heritage in BC is seeking an Assistant Service Manager.

Working in a people-focused environment, you will earn the respect of your co-workers. You are a born leader and coach with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, who has the ability to direct and solve a variety of day to day problems.

In this role you will:

• Foster an increase in efficiencies by liaising between Dispatch and Road Technicians
• Conduct reviews with Technicians and identify training opportunities
• Conduct customer satisfaction surveys after repairs or services are rendered
• Identify areas of improvement to streamline processes or improve efficiencies

You offer:

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Previous mechanical experience
• Have worked in a unionized environment and or have previous labour relations experience
• A proven track record as a leader and coach
• Experience in invoicing
