Job Description:

One of the top 5 mining companies in BC is currently seeking an Information Systems Purchasing Agent.

Reporting to the Information Systems Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the purchasing process with regards to hardware, software, professional services and contract management.

In this role you will:

•           Develop and manage technical vendor relationships
•           Purchase all IT and telephony related products and services for                       national and international offices.
•           Mitigate import and export issues
•           Oversee taxation, billing and legal issues
•           Manage all RFP and RFI’s
•           Assist in scoring RFP’s
